“Enjoyed our stay at Jasmine cottage.”

Location is nice and quiet with good walks from the property door and off-road cycling. Note it’s a tough slog uphill to Whinlatter Forest on foot or two wheels. Bedrooms and bathrooms were tidy, there were quite a few cobwebs in corners so cleaning contractors could do a slightly better job. Living area carpet has some stains and in general property would benefit from redecorating and freshening up. Kitchen and range of culinary equipment were excellent. Parking is quite tight especially ...

Parking is quite tight especially for an SUV or long wheelbase van (we were fortunate to be able to use all the front area. Officially there’s only use of one space there) Garden and front decking area would again benefit from some maintenance and tidying. * It didn’t affect us but I don’t believe that NO electric vehicle charging permitted was mentioned in the listing. This could be an issue for e-bike users too.

Thank you for your feedback we were really happy to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay. We value all of our guests feedback and have taken on board the points you have made. We have recently acquired the property and are in the process of reviewing the maintenance schedule. We have scheduled new flooring throughout the property and a full redecoration (interior and exterior) which will take place throughout 2025. We have passed your feedback regarding the cobwebs onto the cleaning team as this is not what we would expect but were pleased to her everything else was tidy and clean. We have also updated our property information to note that we do allow e-bike charging in line with the fire safety guidelines in the property but we currently don’t have the facility for vehicle charging but will investigate this as a potential option for the future.
