Easy walk and biking from the door. We had great weather for March, amazing walks on Blencathra.
The garage was fantastic for storing the bikes safely and the cottage was very comfortable.
Our only gripe was there was only a 1-person cafetiere, which is poor for a 4-bed cottage. Made making coffee a right faff! And the parking is tight if you have a family car and wish to close the gate (to keep the dog in), but was do-able with care.
We would happily stay here again!

We’re pleased you enjoyed the cottage and had a lovely week. The biking is great from the cottage, especially on Whinlatter. We have ordered a new cafetière as we hadn’t realised there was only a single thank you for highlighting this. It is worth noting there is also additional parking at the front of the cottage that is available to use which was in the key collection/directions information and the welcome book giving you more space around the back. We look forward to welcoming you again.
