We also found the process of attempting to reschedule our holiday through the company to be frustrating, as it was very difficult to speak directly with someone. However, once I was able to connect via WhatsApp, the representative was extremely helpful.
Finally, we felt that the company’s communications placed considerable emphasis on leaving the property in a clean condition—which we fully respect and would naturally do—rather than focusing on ensuring guests have the best possible holiday experience.

We’re sorry you felt there could have been more supplies left but the cottage is self catering and the supplies we do leave are merely meant to be a starter pack consisting of essentials to help guests when they first arrive. Unfortunately while we do supply some dishwasher tablets we don’t supply clothes washing tablets due to potential allergies and leave this up to our guests to provide. We’re also sorry to hear about the issues you had rescheduling with Sykes and will flag this with them as this should be a straight forward process.
