Ghyll Heights is arranged over three floors.

On the lower floor is a lovely king size room and seperate bathroom.

A separate dressing room adds an element of luxury, and the outlook is onto woodland.

The entrance hall leads to the main living area and balcony with a view over the nearby waterfall.

The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with everything needed to conjure up a hearty breakfast or evening meal.

Upstairs again to the second of the two bedrooms which is a super king-size room with en-suite bathroom.

Total privacy in a charming location. Parking is in the car port and there is space for one large or up to two small cars.

There is extra parking in the visitors spaces if required.

Location Ghyll Heights nestles in a peaceful spot within the renowned Falls development alongside the tumbling waterfalls yet only a few minute's stroll from the centre of Ambleside backing onto Kirkstone.

A holiday property in Ambleside provides an excellent starting point for a varied Lake District holiday.

Easily accessible via the A591 on the northern shores of Lake Windermere, Ambleside is a contemporary, characterful Lakeland village with a spectacular backdrop of Lake District fells.

The location is ideal for walking in the Lake District, with many renowned routes beginning in and around the village.

But Ambleside is also a popular choice for a relaxed, slow-paced holiday.

Contemporary shops, leisurely lake cruises, acclaimed Lake District restaurants and cosy traditional pubs make the village centre a delight at any time of year. For evening entertainment, you'll find plenty to suit every taste.

AMBLESIDE

Grasmere 4.4 miles; Windermere 4.7 miles; Keswick 16.7 miles.

Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away. There is plenty to do here - cruises, boat trips and watersports on Lake Windermere itself and numerous shops, restaurants and pubs in the village to suit all tastes. On the lakeside at Waterhead, the parkland offers lovely views down the lake and a short stretch of beach, whilst a walk in the other direction, following Stock Ghyll through woodland, will bring you to the entrancing waterfall of Stock Ghyll Force. Along with the Lake and the great walking on offer, Ambleside is also famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th century “Bridge House” - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District and now the National Trust Information Centre.
