Wonderful place for a quiet break (no phone signal at all} Property had everything we needed, amazingly comfortable bed.

Very peaceful Dogs loved it - having the field right outside the door was a bonus as on lazy days we could just let them run around Plenty places to visit in the area and walks if you feel energetic Would highly recommend

We had 4 nights in this lovely cottage for part of our honeymoon.

It is a beautiful place in the most amazing setting, a very romantic getaway with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The cottage is attached to another but has been really well thought out when renovated. There are no windows overlooking the garden area from the other cottage which makes it completely private when in the hot tub. Also the views from the hot tub are stunning. The bed is huge and so comfortable with really good quality bedding and pillows. The bathroom is luxurious with a fabulous shower and the kitchen has everything you could need if you want to cook yourself. Ruth the host is great and is there if needed, she gave us a lovely bottle of wine on arrival which was a really nice touch. We loved Meadowsyke Byre and hopefully will return very soon

The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and cosy. The location was excellent - within walking distance of the village with its shop and pub and also for visiting all the local attractions of the Lakes.
