This is the greatest place , location , cottage I’ve been.

The just are amazing , just the above any expectations. The cottage was having everything you may possibly need or want for your stay . The comfort , cleanliness and warmth place with a real Cumbria view from your windows just like on the post card . Really amazing just go and see yourself !

Been to dozens over the years and this one ( and Bill's barn next door ) stand out completely. Modern yet very cozy. Very spacious. Everything you'd want really. Location is great, as it's in the middle of the lakes ( almost) yet very private. Plenty of walks straight from the cottage or just a short drive for the bigger fells. Great Pub nearby for hot meals, Ulverston for shopping if required is close too. After staying several times between these few cottages, booking anywhere else feels like a downgrade. 10/10 on all fronts

We had a lovely stay!

The cottage is beautiful, comfy, thoughtfully designed and very well equipped. It is in a very quiet location. One thing that should be on the listing is how narrow (inc measurements) the drive entrance is. We are glad we did not arrive in the dark or have a large car. It would be good if the lines for the parking spaces could be moved over a bit to give the person by the fence a bit more room as the other spaces have plenty of room and can take it.

Very well done. Lovely place. We would come again. Shower was great. Very powerful. Beds comfy. Parking straight outside. We are super super fussy and this place in our opinion ticked all the boxes.

A lovely modernised cottage with excellent facilities, in a lovely quiet spot.

The only drawback was being 3 miles from the main road and then a very tight access to the parking area.

Oxen Park Farm Cottage is a great place to stay when visiting the South Lakes with Windemere, Coniston and Ulverston for food shopping all close by.

We enjoy a couple of spots at the bottom of Coniston Water that are only ten minutes away and the little village the cottage sits is charming. The parking situation could be an issue if you have a very large car but we had no problem with our normal sized family car. The inside of the property can't be faulted, all the appliances and shower work great and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, it was also nice to have good Wi-Fi and a nice TV at the end of the day. Oxen Park feels spacious and welcoming when you step inside and it was very easy to get off to a good night's sleep due to the comfort of the bedroom. I will be hoping to book the cottage again next year.

Immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, and with the bonus of free electric car charging! The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax after exploring. Highly recommend for a restful getaway—we’ll definitely be back!

It is in an amazing location for south Lakes and all that’s on offer. We went on a beautiful 3 mile walk straight from the door. The host was amazing. Everything was in the cottage that we needed including dish washing tables and washing capsules, tea, coffee, milk and even shower gels and shampoos plus more. Very comfortable and really nice place to stay. I ordered an Amazon parcel that unfortunately didn’t arrive. It was specific toothpaste for my children. The owner even came out in the rain to look for it! Will definitely return. Very good value for money and a good base for Coniston, Windermere, the Zoo and Hatherwaite railway.

This was one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and very well maintained.

Well-equipped and comfortable and clear the owners take pride in their upkeep. The entrance is a little hazardous for very wide vehicles but otherwise, the location is excellent. The cottage is ideally situated for the south Lakeland area, Holker Hall, Furness Abbey, Hill Top, Brantwood, Lakeland Museum and other places all within a twenty-minute drive. The Manor House pub serves good food and has a friendly staff. We highly recommend this place for a quiet retreat that is also within easy reach of all the main attractions in the area. Excellent Property, well equipped and comfortable accommodation that seems a million miles away from the usual Lakeland tourist hotspots that are non the less within half an hour's drive away.

Own transport is essential as there are no local services in the hamlet only the Hotel/pub which I didn't have chance to visit. Plenty of beautiful low land walks and cycle rides from the doorstep. I may well be back there in the future.

We had the most restful sleep of our lives while staying here. It's situated in such peaceful, picturesque surroundings.

We booked the cottage for 3 nights.

We were a family of four and all four of us including our one year old and six year old enjoyed the cottage alot. Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures super clean and comfy. The peaceful scenic surroundings add to the overall experience. We definitely recommend the cottages and would look forward to rebook them on our next visit to the lakes.

We loved the cottages and the surrounding was like everything you expect from a cottage in the Lake District.

You can walk several routes directly from the cottage and its a perfect stay to discover more of the Lake District. Would love to come back and stay longer!
