    “Me my partner and 2 kids stayed for 4 nights to be honest it was the best place where we ever stayed .”

    It was clean and all nice furniture .A big window on the 1st floor with amazing view, hot tab was perfect at the end of our busy days . Julie was so nice and a fantastic host ,she gave us information about all the best things to see and do . She also left some chocolate eggs out for the kids and then to top it off home made scones on the day we were leaving. we are definitely going back. 5 stars . Liene and Neil

With reverse-level accommodation, the bedrooms are thoughtfully presented on the ground floor.

Enjoy a luxurious soak in the hot tub after a long day exploring the region or wake up to a refreshing shower in the en-suite.

One of the double rooms boasts views of open green fields and patio doors out to the enclosed garden.

Upstairs, the open-plan living room makes the most of the views, with dual-aspect windows allowing the natural light to flood the interior.

The interiors are modern in design with all the necessities for home-cooking, dining and unwinding in the living areas, surrounded by the company of your loved ones, the ideal getaway for groups celebrating an occasion or just an opportunity to get together with friends. During the warmer months, enjoy a spot of lunch on your own private patio area before heading out for the day. If you can tear yourself away from this delightful accommodation, venture into the centre of the village where you will find two traditional pubs, each offering a delicious dining menu and local beers. For those feeling adventurous, head to the Lake District National Park where you can trek up England’s highest peak or discover the magnitude of picturesque lakes. The small village of Beckermet is located just one mile from the beautiful West Coast and sits amongst dramatic Lakeland countryside. Consisting of a scattering of cottages, farm dwellings, modern homes and two traditional English pubs serving local beers and good food; The White Mare has even won awards for 'Best Pint' and 'Best Pub in Cumbria'. The fells and lakes of the Western Lake District are close at hand. Relatively unknown to many Lakeland visitors, this area offers easy access to the towering peaks of Scafell Pike - England's highest peak, as well as Scarfell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell: the lakes of Ennerdale, Loweswater, Crummock Water, Buttermere and Wastwater, England's deepest lake is perhaps the most awe-inspiring of all the lakes. The nearby stunning valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking and ever-changing scenery to be enjoyed throughout the year. The nearby popular seaside resort of St Bees, with its historic Priory, has a long sandy beach, plus the rocky promontory of St Bees Head, the westernmost point of Cumbria and the start of Wainwright’s famous 'Coast to Coast walk'.
