    “Beautiful cosy cottage.”

Tastefully decorated throughout. Thoughtful Easter touches made it even more special. Thank you. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. Comfortable sofas and extra comfy beds with gorgeous linens. It’s the best night’s sleep we’ve had in any holiday accommodation. The owners are really friendly and approachable and left us a lovely welcome pack including treats and brand new toys for our dogs. Thank you! Lakes and coasts on the doorstep. Wastwater ...

Wastwater is magnificent. Breathtaking. Seascale is beautiful and Mawson’s ice cream is delicious. Drigg is another beautiful beach and sand dune spot. Quiet and peaceful. Everywhere is dog friendly. We’ve loved our stay and didn’t want to leave. We would definitely like to return.Thank you again.

The small village of Gosforth sits amongst beautiful Lakeland countryside and consists of a scattering of traditional cottages, farm dwellings, and pubs serving good food. The village forges links far back into the history books and proudly shows the tallest, and oldest Viking Cross in England, plus the church holds many treasures not least the amazing Hogsback Tombs. Close by are the towering peaks of Scafell - England's highest peak, as well as Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell, whilst the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking scenery.
