Otherwise the facilities where sufficient, jacuzzi was amazing, stunning views.

Context for reviews is always important – we sit at the end of a long single track road (500m) to Black Beck Caravan Park (Butlins it is not) – a very small number of people have previously commented about this both negatively and positively, but the vast majority of reviews make no mention of it. We always encourage our guests to reach out if there are any problems/ irritations with The Lodge whilst you are there. Unfortunately as you did not reach out to us I could not point you in the direction of the timer and off switch for the Immersion Heater (hot water), ensure the pump was turned on that increases water pressure in the kitchen, point out that matches can be used to light a log burner and help you in identifying an appliance that went “Snap” so you could have a full suite of “Snap Crackle & Pop”.
