    “We loved our stay at Jaspers Retreat.”

    Everything was catered for and more. The property was amazing. The views of the lakes , hills and forests were breathtaking. Decor and attention to detail made our stay relaxing after long walks. The property itself has a great location for Exploring the Lakes. Our dogs loved the walks up the hill to Brant fell , the start was a short stroll from the house . We had an amazing taster meal at Simon Rogans , Henrock restaurant a truly fabulous culinary experience. If you are looking for a ...

Windermere Train Station 1.5 miles: Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 7 miles.

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, cinema, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated).
