“The property was exactly as described.”

It was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were fabulous and very accommodating. The location of the property was great, and there was parking for 3 cars, which was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Also accessible from this location are the Lakes Aquarium and Lakeland Motor Museum, whilst the Beatrix Potter attraction will be a hit with the younger party members; the more spirited can rent bikes and explore Grizedale Forest from this point. Why not take to the water for an afternoon of paddle-boarding or kayaking, before exploring some of the delightful towns in proximity to Kempton, including Ambleside, Grasmere, and Coniston. Wherever you explore, there are beautiful landscapes for walkers to enjoy, with the Orrest Head at the top of Windermere village, displaying breath-taking views of the lake and the surrounding fells.
