“This is an exceptional property in an ideal location.”

Just a quick wander down the road to Bowness. The house has been renovated to very high standard with high end fixtures and fittings. Everything was spotless - no issues for us at all.

“What a " wow" property.”

This property is above and beyond in everyway.Location 5 star,decor and facilities 5 star,communication with the owner 5 star . Just stayed for 3 night of luxury, The only criticism I have is that I had to leave

“Fantastic location, the house had everything we needed plus more.”

Bathrooms felt like a luxury spa, comfortable big beds, beautiful kitchen. Otto was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Made our holiday with a 7 month old easy and stress free. Can’t wait to return.

“Rebecca and Phil were incredibly welcoming hosts, providing all the essentials and much more to make sure we felt at home.”

The house is in a perfect location in Bowness Windermere with the lake, shops and all the restaurants/bars walkable within 5 minutes. The house is highly specced throughout as per the photos and we enjoyed every last minute of it.  Thank you Rebecca and Phil, we won’t hesitate to book with you again.

“Communication: Very timely, patient, and very comprehensive.”

Cleanliness: Clean and tidy Surroundings: Very convenient, many restaurants, supermarkets are also very close to the house, just a 2-minute drive from the lake. Unique highlights: All the amenities are very new and the layout is really great, especially the living room and the yard, which my family and I really enjoyed. There is floor heating in the living room and the bathroom and every detail is very in place. Amenities: The host prepared everything we could use for us, special baby utensils, there were baby chairs, had baby tableware, even the little stools that let the baby wash their own hand, so we were very touched. We definitely will come back Richmond house again, and really want to say thanks to Rebecca&Phil!

The property is pristine & spotless through out, with beautiful decor & high quality furnishings. Everything about it feels special and you just know that Rebecca & Phil have spent a lot of time getting this right, its a home away from home. “What a beautiful home.”

Everything in the house is pristine & the attention to detail that the owners have put in is visible everywhere. There are two extremely comfy super king beds, a lovely rain shower & the under floor heating is a treat for the feet. Nice little touches with a welcome card, snacks & wine.  I wish the weather was nicer to enjoy the outside space as this is also just gorgeous. Next time!  The hosts were extremely helpful throughout our stay & very responsive. One of the best places we’ve stayed, do not hesitate to book. Luxury awaits! ❤️

The property is stunning & full of everything that you need to facilitate a great & enjoyable stay. The spec is of a very high standard & it's location in Bowness couldn't be better, close enough to amenities & just away from the hustle bustle of the main street. The attention to detail from the Team is second to none & Otto is a fabulous Chap to deal with. We had an excellent long weekend & will certainly visit again.

“We had a lovely break at Richmond House.”

It was a lovely space in which to spend a few days: spacious, well-appointed, smartly furnished and finished to a very high spec. The open-plan kitchen and living area were ideal for our young family. The location was great for exploring the Lake District: a short wander into Bowness-on-Windermere itself and not far from Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Kendal.  Rebecca and Phil were ideal hosts: really responsive, attentive and full of helpful suggestions about the local area. We would highly recommend staying and I’m sure we’ll be back in future. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

“Just wow - The owners have created 5 star beautiful holiday home.”

Everything is top notch, blissful beds, lovely linen, gorgeous villeroy & boch bathrooms that felt like a spa. Living space that works so well for those cooking and those wanting to lounge. All the little touches that make this home special - Sonos sound system, auto lights in the bathrooms, private outside for each bedroom, and an exceptional outside space with outside fire place, bbq and morning coffee area. Location is spot on, quiet and peaceful yet only 5 mins walk left or right out of cul-de-sac into Bowness. For a 4 night stay we didn’t use our car at all. After the miles of walking - great food in the Tapas bar, the Magic Roundabout and Angel Inn and 1 or 2 cocktails in the Fizzy Tart with best real ale in the Royal Oak at bottom of hill. Thank you - we hope to be back very soon!

“Wow!!!”

This by far is the most amazing place we have stayed! The house is out of this world. From the second we got to the property we were blown away with the high standard of furniture and attention to detail that has been put in. The bedrooms are gorgeous and so modern with well equipped en-suites.  The location is fantastic with plenty of nice bars, restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend Porto restaurant and the Fizzy Tarte cocktail bar.  Otto was so helpful and was available for any advice re the property and any questions we had. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you

“My partner and I, alongside our 2 year old and 4 month old sons have just returned from this absolutely stunning property.”

We booked this trip only a few weeks ago and must admit we were slightly worried that the house would be too good to be true. As it was new there weren’t any reviews to go by but after messaging back and forth we felt comfortable to go ahead with the booking. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful from the get go and as it was our first getaway as a family of 4 I had plenty of questions, all which were answered promptly and in a very friendly manner! The house itself is just beautiful! Completely to the highest standard and in a perfect location within walking distance to the town. The hosts have thought of everything. From providing logs for the burners in the living room and garden to great quality bathrobes and fluffy towels for guests. It’s such a modern house with a homely feel. The best of both worlds. We will be back for sure!!!

The house it absolutely stunning. It has just been fully done out to such a high standard, and the quality of finish is faultless. Fully equipped with everything you would need, but so tastefully designed and laid out. From sitting in the beautiful kitchen looking out to that gorgeous garden, to lighting the outside fire and sitting out of an evening with a nice glass of wine, absolutely magical.  And it is so well located for the town centre, just a few minutes walk and you are in the centre amongst it all.

Windermere Train Station 1.5 miles: Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 7 miles.

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, cinema, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated).
