What guests are saying
Only things I could possibly say is that I would have liked a key to open the windows especially the bathroom.
But both Sykes and the owner know this and I was contacted quickly about it. I would have liked less crockery so I would have room for bits of shopping. But that's just me. Lovely cottage. Would like to stay again when I've been in training for the hill but the alternative way makes it easier.
Absolutely first class.
I contacted the owner over a small problem and he was extremely helpful.
On arrival after 3pm, a maintenance man arrived saying the cleaner had identified some problems with the property, which he noted were issues with; the toilet seat, shelf in bathroom, and a leak.
He couldn’t identify the leak, but took an image of the water stain above the stairs. He also changed the toilet seat. A day later, I noticed the leak was whilst the shower was on. There is a small hole above the bottom of the stairs where water was dripping from. I have a video of this. There was only 1 toilet roll in the property. I don’t know if this was intentional or there was some stored away, but I couldn’t find any. There is a very strong smell in the kitchen and living room. This may be due to the property being available for dogs, but it needs a good clean.
