    “We love coming to tree tops.”

    Been several times & booked for next year. 2 things though, first the bed is so noisy, I mean every time you turn over it squeaks & wakes you up. There seems to be a mattress topper but it's under the mattress not on the top. Also even though we don't cook a meal we wanted to warm croissants up but the oven didn't work & couldn't find the switch on the wall for it or instructions on what to do which was frustrating. Apart from this it's a nice comfortable stay. Hope the bed is sorted for next ...

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, cinema, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated).
