    “What a lovely cottage.”

    A well equipped kitchen, gorgeous sun room, very comfortable beds, large bathroom and a handy room to store coats and boots downstairs. The garden, wow. It was perfect, with the wild areas to explore and views across the fields. It was so peaceful. Our only regret was it was just a bit out of season to sit outside for too long to appreciate it. We explored the vast beaches at Drigg, Seascale and St Bees. Spent some time at Wastwater, but mostly relaxed. This was our first visit to the western ...

We explored the vast beaches at Drigg, Seascale and St Bees. Spent some time at Wastwater, but mostly relaxed. This was our first visit to the western lakes and coast, always opting for the east, we are so pleased we did this and we will definitely return to Caldhu Cottage. Communication throughout from the owners was really good, they obviously care about their customers. We loved it. Thank you.
