“My family, including my mum and dad, thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cottage over Christmas.”

The cottage itself was warm and cosy with a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful sun room where you can sit and drink your coffee in the morning watching the sun rise. The grounds wrap around the house and are perfect for the slower adventurer. For those wanting a longer trek, a quick stroll out of the front door and over the bridge, takes you further a field onto the well signed bridle paths. Our dog, Piper, loved all of her dogs.
Throughout our booking, we had brilliant communication, not only with the agent but also the owner. They even kindly decorated the cottage for us with Christmas decorations. A very lovely touch!
I would recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this part of the Lake District. We will definitely be back.
Thank you, Zoe
Thanks for your lovely review Zoe. We love staying in the cottage ourselves at Christmas but when we're not there ourselves it's great to be able to share it with such appreciative guests! We look forward to welcoming you back in the future, Graham & Nicky
