What guests are saying
Pros: large private garden, was perfect for us as we had 2 dogs with us.
Location was also good as it was within walking distance of the town and walks. Was clean. Cons: accommodation could do with a bit of tlc overall, the bathroom especially. Only one lamp with a bulb, only 1 toilet roll supplied, mattress wasn't the best as it was really soft and springy.
To be truthful this property is in a good location but on arrival the cleanliness was not very good I had to clean the cooker and even clean the washing machine which full of mould on the rubber ring which actually to my breath away it was that bad.
There is slight mould in the cottage on the walls and really does require some TLC which is a shame. Hopefully the owner will take this on board and it could be an absolute gem of a place to stay for future guests.
Lovely cottage in a perfect location .
How ever the heating system is uncontrollable , and made our stay uncomfortable. Also the water heats up in the middle of the night and us very noisy. I think that maybe the thermostat isn't working as the water is far too hot. And lastly the fridge isn't working properly causing food to freeze in the fridge. In the garden shrubs by patio are very overgrown and guttering is leaking above bedroom . Mattress needs replacing. Hope these comments are useful and if sorted out I would love to return here . But wouldn't come again until sorted .
