    “Easy to find the property.”

    Upon entering property it looked like it needed a bit of TLC downstairs. We discovered the second bedroom had no bed linen and I tried calling both numbers listed but no one answered. Owner came to property following morning and apologised and made duvet up . The duvets are disgusting and I didn't use them because they were that bad . I had brought my own and we went to shops and got another. Discovered further duvets discarded in cupboard under stairs. Upstairs was okay, we had everything we ...

Wondered why so many flies around the seating area though, the carpet needs cleaned and this will help . I enjoyed my holiday but not accomodation. Even though I got this holiday at reduced rate of £500 , I think I could've found a better property to rent if I had looked harder.

    Very sorry to hear about the problems you had while staying with us , we do respond to any issues as soon as we can ... We pride ourselves on our cleanliness as you can see from all the positive feedback we get , we strongly disagree with the point you made about the duvets being disgusting they all have protectors on which are washed on a regular basis, This is the only negative feedback we've ever had and we will keep maintaining our high standards for our guests Property Owner

These delightful Grade II listed Newbiggin-on-Lune cottages have been carefully created from old farm buildings, and each has been comfortably furnished and decorated, retaining character and charm, including original features, oak beams and exposed stonework. Featuring upside down accommodation, the cottages have open plan living areas on the first floor to take advantage of the lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The tranquil village of Newbiggin-on-Lune lies at the foot of the Howgill Fells, quietly sitting between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. It is a delightful rural village with a thriving local community and many traditional old dwellings. Hill farming is the principal means of income in the area and an agricultural show is still held once a year on the fells, echoing the markets and shows of days gone by. The local river, the Lune for which the village was named, is very popular for trout fishing. Nearby Ravenstonedale, once described by Wainwright as one of Westmorland’s loveliest villages, boasts three pubs, all serving fine ales and modern cuisine.
