We marked down the facilities only because of the Television. It was not possible to get BBC news, and others. This was not the owners fault, it was an aerial problem, but it would have been useful to have all the channels. We had long walks with the dog, and relaxed in front of the TV in the evenings. We just used YouTube mostly.
We did explain our technological uselessness to the owners. This would not put us off recommending the cottage to others, in fact we would be happy to return to the same cottage again.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. Whilst we don't have analogue TV at the moment, the TV is a smart TV and offers all of the apps. If we had been aware during your stay that there were some issues with the TV system, we would have come to see if we could help. However, we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, and should you decide to return to stay at Lavender Cottage again, we would love to meet you on arrival and go through the TV operations in person to make sure that there are no problems with the system.
