Hi Jane, thank you for your feedback, I appreciate all feedback wether it's good or not. I've had a lot of 5 star reviews and guests tend to have an amazing experience so im a little surprised given the content of your review that you never contacted me at any point during your stay to voice your concerns so I could have acted on them immediately. I have checked with cleaners and site office about the points you raised,. The carpets were cleaned the day before your arrival and rest of lodge on same day, electrician has tested the microwave and is to replace it, unfortunately things do break sometimes. The restaurant was closed mon & Tuesday but there was a food/burger van on site at reception during the summer. The bin store is also at the other side of main building so pretty close to the lodge . I have no control over any site charges but will raise it with them anyway. Im sorry you didn't find things up to expectations , we strive to give all our guests a relaxing and enjoyable stay and will continue to do so, assuring you of our best intentions at all times .
