“Lovely property & really useful welcome basket.”

We had a lovely 7 day stay at this lodge, its by far one of the best we have stayed at. It's clean, tidy, well equipped & cosy. If anything, the "site owners" need to up their game to compliment the lodges. The facilities close at 21:00 everyday except Mon & Tues when it closes at 18:00. No food available on Mondays & Tuesdays which we saw, caught a number of people out.

Thank you Mark for your lovely comments and have noted your remarks about the bar/restaurant. Luckily there are a number of take aways in Carnforth who deliver to the site entrance as most guests while away on holiday don’t always want to cook a meal. Yes, when it is open, it is a pleasant walk and nice to sit and meet other people staying while having a drink or meal in Waters Edge and the seating outside overlooking the lake is very relaxing, especially this time of year watching the baby ducks and swans. Do hope we may see you again. Kind regards Jane. Property Owner
