    “We had a wonderful stay over Christmas.”

    Communication from the owner, Jayne, was excellent from start to finish and we really appreciated the festive touches when we arrived — the Christmas tree and decorations made it feel special even though we were away from home. The property is up two flights of stairs but there’s a good-sized landing halfway up, and you can park right outside to load and unload at certain times. The main car park is only a very short walk away; you can either nip down a little alley or take a slightly ...

The property is up two flights of stairs but there’s a good-sized landing halfway up, and you can park right outside to load and unload at certain times. The main car park is only a very short walk away; you can either nip down a little alley or take a slightly longer route around. We chose the lower-level parking so the car was locked in overnight, and it was reasonably priced. Inside, the flat was beautiful. Beds and linens were super comfortable, the bathrooms were high spec, and despite being in the centre we slept very well — the windows blocked out all noise. The living/kitchen area is spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. We were even able to cook a full Christmas lunch! Big fridge, lovely crockery and cutlery, great heating, and gorgeous views from the kitchen window over the back. Overall, a brilliant stay — we’d happily return.
