Daisy Cottage

Was a few problems and the bathroom was very small just wasn't suitable for my mum who has mobility issues

We really enjoyed our stay at Daisy Cottage could not fault it at all, lovely location would defiantly recommend to others, and would stay again if we were coming back to the Lake District.

Very homely and well equipped. Great location and made to feel welcome.

We were extremely satisfied with the cottage, everything we needed and nice to meet Linda and Philip.

It is situated within easy reach of lots of different places of interest and well worth a visit to The Sun Inn for food which was delicious and staff lovely to talk to.

Great location for travelling to various parts of Lake District.

The cottage has everything you need,spotlessly clean. The food at the pub ( Sun Inn) that was recommended by Phil,was excellent and great value for money.

We had a amazing time in this beautiful cottage with beautiful scenery the hosts were so lovely and welcoming I really didn't want to go it was so peaceful everything was perfect from start to finish we really enjoyed our wedding anniversary in this amazing place can not recommend it enough we will definitely be back I would like to thank Linda and Phillip for being so lovely and making sure we were comfortable and had a lovely stay and for recommendations for local pubs for food we went to the sun inn in Newton reighny and the food was absolutely 10/10 we ended going to lakes wildlife park and that was amazing too

Very neat and tidy.

Well equiped. We were always warm in the cottage and there was plenty of hot water. A friendly welcome. We liked the outside furniture which provided a place to sit and enjoy watching the lambs. Thankyou.

Wonderful comfortable clean surroundings, Full range of domestic facilities.

The area is quiet and peaceful and ideal for touring the Lake District. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely holiday cottage in good area for visiting eastern Lakes.

Good eating out opportunities for vegetarians in the area but also great self catering equipment.Lowther Castle Gardens and estate well worth a visit and Larch Cottage nurseries have a lovely garden, restaurant and gallery too.

I booked with Skyes cottages for a surprise getaway for my parents everything my parents told me was positive they arrived a little later then expected and the lady was accommodating and so lovely about all of it.

They had a wonderful time and we will definitely book again with them in the future!

We were pleased with our cottage and with the convenience of being able to travel both south to the Lakes and being able to visit Carlisle and Penrith.

Our hosts were friendly and obliging.The weather was kind to us and there were tables and chairs for sitting outside.

Great hosts, cosy cottage and the perfect location - everything is very accessible.

Bed not comfortable and creaks Couch not comfortable at all.

Towel radiator above toilet so you got wet towels About you when using the loo. We had to go shopping to cleaning products Wipes/kitchen towel/spray/bleach. Dish washer tablets. Make sure you park between the welcome sheep on the fence I was told this as soon as I arrived. It’s not far from the m6 so at night you can hear traffic. Very little wild life Plenty of crows but not much else. We both love the area as have been for a number of years Will be back next year but To somewhere different.

Super cottage, very clean and location good.
