The parking pass is excellent, we used in Hawkeshead. I think it would be a good idea to mention this in the cottage description, as there isn't much space for parking right next to the cottage. However with the pass there are a few good options close by. We did manage to park on the banks, next to the cottage the 4 nights we were there.
The cottage was perfect size for us and our little dog, had everything we could have wanted and more. Welcome pack was amazing! We appreciated it all. Only one slight issue we had was the front door, very difficult to open and lock. Also a few of the internal doors stuck at times, just minor things that could easily be put right, and didn't effect the enjoyment of our stay. We would highly recommend this lovely cottage and will definitely be back.
Thank you for the lovely feedback - sitting in the garden is one of my favourite things to do at the cottage so I'm pleased that you had the weather to sit out and appreciate the views!
I am having the doors looked at on Friday so hopefully the lock will be less stiff soon...
