“A lovely place to stay, very well kept and Ruth was very accommodating.”

I didn’t read the whole listing properly and was taken aback a bit when I found out there was an extra charge if you want to use the hot tub. Personally I think that should be included in the total price. The surrounding field is perfect to let the dog roam on its own as it’s fenced. There’s plenty walks to go on if you wish. If you want to get a meal at the local pub then book it well in advance as it’s the only one within walking distance. Ruth provided a pint of milk and a bottle ...

Ruth provided a pint of milk and a bottle of wine on arrival as well as tea & coffee, biscuits. And some doggy treats. A fully stocked kitchen with all working appliances and pots and pans, glassware you name it, Even a dishwasher with tabs. Board games, playing cards and books are also inside. There’s a handy utility room with a dog wash to the side that’s a lifesaver. The fact it is adjoining to the barn meant that when our neighbours got up from the table and moved their chairs they scraped them across the floor which happened frequently and disturbed our peace. They had children too that added to it and a dog that randomly barked. You can hear everything next door. All in all it was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend and I would go back again. 4.5* / 5

Thank you for your feed back, I am so pleased you found it a great place to stay and you are happy to recommend and would come back again. I am sorry you didnt notice in the listing that there is a charge for the hot tub. As not every guest wants use of the hot tub we made the decision not to increase the cost of the property to cover the cost of the hot tub, but rather to charge directly for its use. We felt it was fairer that those using the hot tub coverd the cost, and those who didnt use it didnt get charged. I am also sorry that you were disturbed by the noise of the chairs on the flags from next door. The furniture is fitted with felt feet to eliminate the noise and unfortuanatly I was unaware that some had worn through. I have replaced the feet and will make sure I check their condition on a regualr basis going forward. Property Owner
