    “The cottage is stunning.”

    Well designed with high end amenities. The cottage is practical and very comfortable. Parking is straightforward and convenient. Great views from the front. We were lucky enough to see Northern Lights!! Great walks from the front door and a pub in walking distance. You'll need a head torch though. Suitable for dogs but you'll need to bring your own bowls/towels etc. The back garden is secure, even for our Lakeland Terrier. We went for some R&R but unfortunately were woken up most mornings by ...

We went for some R&R but unfortunately were woken up most mornings by next doors dogs. From 7.30 am they barked/howled intermittently. The owner has discussed this with the neighbour in the past. On this occasion they responded with lot's of loud door slamming! If you are up and out walking early this wouldn't of course be a problem.

LAMPLUGH NEAR LOWESWATER

Cockermouth 6 miles.

This truly quaint Cumbrian village, complete with traditional Lakeland cottages and a village pub, is situated in a peaceful unspoilt valley. The surrounding countryside is delightful and the walking excellent. The market towns of Cockermouth and Keswick, are both within easy driving distance, and boast a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Lamplugh is ideally situated for exploring the Western Lakeland Fells and all they have to offer. Picturesque walks, bike rides and excellent trout fishing in Cogra Moss are all attractions of the area.
