    “We both had a lovely stay at the barn which was great, I had to go into the West Cumberland Hospital to have my Prostate removed and so my sister left her review in the book.”

    It was also very kind of you to let her put my car in the visitors spaces as I had to spend 3 nights in the hospital to sort out my bladder and we picked it up on Friday of last week, I have since had a successful operation in Carlisle to sort me out as I needed my sister to be with me after the aneasthesia.so thank you for that, the only point we might raise is that for older visitors some footing purchase on the shower floor would have been advantageous and so we purchased mats and left one at ...

This truly quaint Cumbrian village, complete with traditional Lakeland cottages and a village pub, is situated in a peaceful unspoilt valley. The surrounding countryside is delightful and the walking excellent. The market towns of Cockermouth and Keswick, are both within easy driving distance, and boast a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Lamplugh is ideally situated for exploring the Western Lakeland Fells and all they have to offer.
