Great location, perfect for meeting up with friends.

Very happy to support the Firefighters charity by booking this accommodation. A few maintenance issues need resolving, so reception advised. That said, I would happily visit Eamont Park again.

Good accommodation - comfy bed and appropriate furnishings and equipment.

Not over fussy or ornamented (unlike other properties I've been to), which suited me well and makes packing up at the end much easier. The location is great - very quick and easy into Penrith and onwards into the North Lakes and several pleasant short walks from the doorstep. Didn't use any of the Jubilee House facilities but the reception staff were excellent. Nice to know that there are staff around 24/7.

The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped with all we needed for our short break.

Plenty of things to do out in the local area. We would stay again if in the area.

Clean facilities. Nice outside area with bench. Good car parking for 1 car. Good, quiet location. Things to consider - no WIFI and shower head needs replacing or maybe tightening.

Clean. Comfortable and warm. Couldn’t really fault it. From arriving to leaving, everything went smoothly. Lady’s in reception extremely helpful and friendly. Certainly couldn’t fault them. Overall a great experience. Certainly recommend.

We had a lovely holiday.

The addition of picnic chairs to sit comfortably elsewhere in the garden would be nice. There was no washing up liquid, good job I'd brought some. Nice to be able to use the lovely swimming pool. As we were staying for 2 weeks we really appreciated the linen being changed mid holiday. There are 2 pubs just round the corner serving food and a bus stop to get into Penrith and all the way down to Windermere, a trip not to be missed.

Perfect location to explore the Lake District. We have stayed before and we will definitely be back again.

Excellent property in a fabulous location very quiet ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Could just do with a rubber shower mat as shower becomes quite slippy, we did put a towel down inside the shower but a mat would be more idea otherwise everything was fabulous and we will be back.

Lovely modern smart house.

Nothing missing which we needed. Only issue was the stair gate which did not fit properly but at least gave a barrier for our 2 year old. My only suggestion for improvement is the provision of 4 x garden chairs so we could spend time in the garden. The picnic table isn't comfortable to sit for long. Overall, a very nice stay.

Super location on the outskirts of town.

Short drive to Ullswater but also lovely walks from the doorstep. Pool is free to book and a real asset on a rainy day - we often had it to ourselves. Small gym is also free to use from 5-7pm. River runs beside the compound with its resident heron and is perfect for a picnic. Great value.

This is a semi situated on a lovely quiet development.

The property was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. The backgarden is a sun trap to sit out and enjoy. Just a short drive to shops in Penrith and well situated for lovely walks from the property. There is a bus stop on the main road so ideal if using public transport. We will certainly return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Have recently returned from staying at Eamont Park and as a family we had a fantastic stay.

The location of the house is great for days out with small children. I requested a travel cot, high chair and baby gate and all were provided. The staff at the centre were all really friendly and helpful and having the swimming pool on site was great for the kids. I do have a few small issues with the house the first one being the curtains in the bedrooms are super thin so did nothing to block out light and the blinds in the main bedroom were broken so didn’t close, so also blocked out no light. We ended up taping bin bags to the windows to block out the light, not ideal. The latch on one of the bedroom windows was also broken meaning the window didn’t fully close so let a draft in, not a problem in the warm weather but could be an issue in winter. Not having WiFi in the property wasn’t great, especially as I’m on o2 and the signal was pretty much non existent, something to bear in mind if you need the internet. I do feel that the back garden could be flagged or grass put down as it’s currently shingle which pretty much makes it not very user friendly if travelling with younger children or if you’d like to lie out in the sun

9 Eamont Park helped to give us a fabulous week in the Lake District.

The house was very comfortable, bright and roomy, and had everything that we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The house is in a great locality, with nearby pubs, and beautiful walks from the door. It was easy to walk or drive into Penrith, and use their shops there. This was our second visit here, and we will look forwards to coming back when we are able.

Great location for getting into the lakes.

Awesome facilities supported by the firefighters charity. Near by pubs are good. The house itself has limited to no reception or data for O2 but you can go to the main building for wifi. But some will like that. Bed is a double which is comfortable, but I'm so used to my super king at home, so had to put up with the wife kicking me in my sleep hehe.

Lovely spacious property.

Very clean and well kept. Quiet location, but ideal for anyone. Washing machine and clothes line proved useful during our stay. Use of indoor pool a great asset. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The kitchen is very poorly furnished, some of the furnishings are getting old, some of the windows don't close very well, especially in the bedroom (with a bed that is much too narrow) you can hear the highway very clearly through the window that isn't completely closed, the hinge is broken .

Oh yes, we slept in a twin room (we put the beds together). I sweated the three nights we were there. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I was packing my suitcase that I realized that there was a moisture protection cover. Of 3 weeks in the UK it was only here.

Great wee cottage with everything we needed.

Access to swimming pool is a real bonus for a winter break with kids.

9 Eamont Park was a great place to stay, with everything that you could want provided.

The space was generous, the kitchen easy to use and clean, the shower very good. The bedroom had lots of storage space, both drawer space and hanging. For us the bed was very firm, however perhaps if our bones were younger this would be perfect! The experiences we had with the reception staff were all very positive, and they were extremely welcoming and helpful. We received a call a few days before we arrived to welcome us and give us helpful information. That was excellent. All in all, we had a brilliant stay in 9 Eamont Place, and would love to return in the future. Best Wishes Judy

Lovely house in a great location.

Very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for family visiting us. We would definitely stay here again.

The cleanliness of the house was exceptional, the housekeepers do a fantastic job.

All of the staff we came into contact with, ( receptionists, security etc.) were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The use of the pool was an added bonus and once again all spotless. The location was perfect, near enough to the shops and the lakes with some wonderful walks.We actually enjoyed our stay so much that we have already rebooked for 2024 and can’t wait already! Immaculately clean inside, very comfortable and most things you need for your stay.

Only thing I would add is it would be nice to have some hand soap for the bathroom and some washing up liquid. Very clean site with helpful staff. Didn't make use of the pool as was only open during set times. Lovely surrounding area with lots of historical sites to see. nice to see the rabbits on site and other wildlife. Would be useful to have more detailed instructions for the hob as the switch was hidden in a cupboard and had to ask site staff to come and locate this for us. All in all though a lovely place to stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay, but wanted to point out a few things.

First, we did not bring any soap. The listing said linens were included and we assumed soap for dishes and hands would be too. There was an expectation to do the dishes, but no provided soap. We ended up asking at reception and they gave us dish soap, which we really appreciated and saved us the first night from running back to the store. It was great to have a vacuum and hand broom, but we would have preferred a bigger broom to sweep up after meals instead of taking out the clunky vacuum or squatting down with the small broom. It was a minor thing, but wanted to mention it. Lastly, being from our of the country, it was hard not having internet in our cottage. We would have to go to reception to look up everything we needed to make our plans for the day. When we were looking for a cottage, we specifically wanted a washing machine, linens, parking and proximity to the family we were visiting. This space had everything we wanted and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice plus for us as well, but pool towels would have been a nice added touch, which reception did help us with as well when we asked. The fact that my only real complaint was the lack of wifi is really minor and we had a lovely stay.

This was a very comfortable property, in a quiet area, ideally located very close to Penrith for use as an overnight base, whilst touring the very scenic surrounding area.

We would happily stay here again.

House was lovely and clean, well equipped kitchen, beds very comfortable, a lovely welcome pack of homemade flapjacks (to die for!

) and tea/coffee/fresh milk. Slightly disappointed that the swimming pool was not available 9-4 as advertised, which was one reason for me booking this property. Reality was its only available at very restricted times of the day depending on beneficiaries daily needs, I was told when there that its only really available in the afternoons, and then only if 2 or more swimming. Ultimately I didn't get to use it as I was the only swimmer and out in fells most the afternoons. Didn't use the other facilities so can't comment.

Clean, warm, and enjoyed the complementary provisions, also comfort with nice towels provided.

It would be handy if some information was shared eg.

Information on recycling and where bins are kept. Also some tourist information about the are.

When we arrived we were put in a different cottage as there was a problem with the boiler in no 9.

This was fine as it was exactly the same. Clean and warm cottage.Very helpful, friendly staff in the reception. We had a problem with the washing machine which was fixed on the same day. The only downside was the bedsheet which never stayed tucked in overnight, slightly too small for the bed. Maybe too many hot washes.Very convenient quiet location.

Property was spotlessly clean but a little 'tired' looking.

New curtains and properly fitted roller blinds would help. It lacks a homely feel, which is easily resolved by adding items such as paintings, etc.
