“Dixon Court was a wonderful home from home in Ambleside.”
The property was clean and extremely spacious, with all mod cons. The sauna in the house was such a great asset and very welcoming after a day of walking in the rain. There are great restaurants, pubs and shops on your doorstep, making this house a fantastic base.
The only downside was trying to secure a space in the North Lake Car Park daily as this was very popular. We ended up parking opposite the Garden Centre, which was about a 10 minute walk away. Parking in the Lakes is problematic at ...

Parking in the Lakes is problematic at the very best of times due to the amount of tourists so this is to be expected.
We had a wonderful week at Dixon Court and despite the lack of parking adjacent to the property, we most definitely will return. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. There are a few closer carparks which we’ve now added to the arrival instructions. We’ve found Lake Road carpark is usually quieter after 4pm. We’re really glad you enjoyed your stay and will hopefully come again :)
