Myra's View is the ideal base for visiting the wonders of the Lake District National Park and provides a peaceful haven for a couple or two friends sharing. Before entering this stone-fronted house that exudes beauty and charm, take advantage of the off-road parking for two cars. Be welcomed into the roomy kitchen/diner, where you can cook meals and dine together, before relaxing in the inviting sitting room, which has a TV, plush seating, and charming, original elements. The house also has an external utility room where you can find the washer, dryer, outdoor furniture, and plenty of room to store your bikes or sporting equipment. After exploring the area on foot, enjoy a long soak or a refreshing shower in the en suite before retiring to one of the two available double bedrooms. The small village of Newby Bridge takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge.
