Couldn't ask for better accommodation or more helpful owners.

Highlights for us were waking up to great views and absolute quiet, and the family of farm cats waiting at the door to greet us each morning. Particularly appreciated after a long hike was the three showers. Cautley Spout and the Calders is also a spectacular walk. Fell in the river, got lost, stumbled back well after dark, absolutely would do it again.

Thanks Dawn & Garry for a welcoming arrival.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful barn. It was spotless with modern comfort whilst maintaining its character. It was a beautiful escape to the countryside and we loved the piece and quietness (and the swallows). We will definitely return! We were able to pass the 6'6" bridge with a 2019 Toyota Corolla TS (mirrors folded in).

Property is excellent; wonderful dark skies and excellent walks from the property.

It's not at all clear, however, why Sykes have taken such a restrictive approach to access to the property: not before 5 pm on the start day and requiring departure by 9 on the last day (the last especially irritating given the extent of the micro-management of directions on emptying bins and cleaning. Property excellent; company arrangements less so.
