    “Property was absolutely immaculate and flawless in every way, very modern, spacious and incredibly clean and comfortable and exactly as described.”

    The hot tub was an amazing addition. My fiance and I loved every inch of it. Despite construction work going on next door, it didn't spoil how peaceful and tranquil overlooking the lake was. The house is perfectly located, just far enough away from the busy towns but close enough to enjoy everything. One tiny piece of advice is maybe for people with allergies to maybe mention in the listing that the bedding is goose down for those with allergies which my fiance did but nothing major at ...

Windermere Train Station 1.5 miles: Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 7 miles.

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, cinema, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre are 1.5 miles away.
