The property

7 Stybarrow Terrace is a three-storey Lakeland cottage sitting on the outskirts of Glenridding, Cumbria.

Located in the Lake District National Park on the southern shores of Ullswater Lake, 7 Stybarrow Terrace is a wonderful home for a group or family of six planning a trip to the Lakes.

Take advantage of one of two off-road parking spots before entering your new home.

In the well-equipped kitchen/dining area which offers glorious views out towards Helvellyn, you can prepare delicious meals for your guests to enjoy at the dining table for six before toasting to a memorable adventure.

Outdoor dining is a great option if the weather is nice.

The large garden features two patios and a dining area where you can take in stunning views of Helvellyn as you fire up the barbecue.

There is also the addition of the large porch, where you can escape to if you need some quiet time.

As the evening grows dark, head inside to the welcoming sitting room, where you can curl up with a good book or watch your favourite series on the TV in front of the lovely electric wood burner effect fire.

A utility/cloakroom with a washing machine completes the ground floor.

Head up to the first floor, where you will find two well-appointed bedrooms a double with en-suite shower room and a twin, served by a beautiful bathroom, perfect for long soaks after exploring the Fells.

The third and final bedroom, a king-size with a zip/link and its own balcony can be found on the second floor, where you can enjoy your morning coffee in style.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the lovely lakeside village, which includes a well-stocked convenience store, characterful pubs serving tasty dishes and local ales, as well as charming cafes for light fare.

Ullswater Lake, which is just a short walk away, offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing, as well as cruises if you prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Numerous hiking and walking trails can be found within a short distance of the town, including Helvellyn, St. Sunday's Crag, and Fairfield Peak, as well as the beautiful Aira Force and High Force Waterfalls in the surrounding area.

Be sure to check out the Dalemain Manion & Historic Gardens, a 14th-century manor house with gardens and a café.

Penrith has a fascinating 14th-century castle, as well as the Penrith and Eden Museum and Thacka Beck Nature Reserve.

It's impossible to visit the Lake District without a stop at the Windermere Jetty Museum and the World of Beatrix Potter, or if that's not your cup of tea, you can take in the sights of the Winderemere Jetty and the World of Beatrix Potter.

From the vantage points of Orrest Head and Queen Adelaide's Hill, take in the magnificent Langdale Pikes.
