Accommodation was great, very clean and perfect for 4 people.

The little extras like tea. Coffee and biscuits was welcome, so was the bathroom toiletries. Wonderful view of the bay and entertainment from the field opposite the property. Would recommend to anybody.

Lovely welcoming cottage in a great location.

Everything was very clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. We brought our dogs and found plenty of good walks nearby. We had a great break and would happily return!

beautiful views. spacious bathroom. Lovely patio. Everything worked as it should. it is only a small cottage so space limited but it would be useful to have: A few hooks by front door for coats. A small boot rack by front door. Towel rails in bedrooms. 1 larger saucepan in kitchen. 1 larger frying pan in kitchen. 2 large shallow bowls (Fruit and salad) Maybe a few small bowl for nibbles etc.

First class property!

Beautifully presented, all comforts catered for and in a stunningly peaceful and picturesque location. Love the amount of ground to it, was ideal with our greyhound who loved nothing more than running around the garden as we watched the sunrises. Lovely little touches such as nice toiletries and the property smelt divine! Really appreciated the cleanliness. Very comfy bed and lounge furniture. Those views of a morning! One of the best we’ve stayed in. Will definitely be recommending and revisiting. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Cottage was clean and comfortable but basic, especially with regards to kitchen.

The views were stunning and the location of the cottage generally very scenic. We had our dog with us and although the garden was fenced and gated, there were holes/ gaps in both fence and gate that meant our cockerpoo could ( and did) escape so we would recommend the addition of chicken wire to secure the bottom of both as there were sheep in nearby field. Well situated for exploring south lakes area. Would recommend and we are likely to rebook in the future.

This was the 4th time back to Liittle Barn.

We absolutely love it. The bungalow has everything you could need for a relaxing peaceful break away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life. It’s perfect for me and my disabilities too. Plus there’s a lovely sea view on top of that. Excellent stay and hopefully we will be back.

Little Barn is a new well appointed and comfortable bungalow between Grange over Sands and Cartmel with fabulous views over Morecambe Bay we loved the outside seating area.

The cottage is in an ideal situation to visit the various attractions in the area if you are going; make sure you visit Levens Hall the kitchen is spot on (we had a great lunch) and the gardens are very interesting with plenty seating to admire the house and gardens

Immaculate property, nice furnishings and all you need for a stay.

Best view everyday! Minor criticism, TV is mounted too high on wall to watch comfortably. Chillaxed, thankyou!

We've had a wonderful break in this beautiful cottage.

Everything we needed at the property and even lovely weather , so we could take advantage of the patio area and the gorgeous views . Great position for visiting Grange for our morning walk on the prom . We will be back . Thankyou so much

Great little barn, clean and well looked after.

Short walk to a pub and a 30min walk in to Cartmel. Enjoyed our weekend

Absolutely loved staying at the little barn, it was like home from home, in an ideal location to explore surrounding areas/towns.

We had a slight problem with the boiler one morning so I rang Leah who informed me her brother and Dad would call, luckily it fired up so I rang her back but her brother and Dad still called within 10 mins just to check everything was ok. We will definitely be back.

Little Barn was beautiful inside and out.

My family and I loved it. The only thing we had a slight issue with was the gaps underneath the fence as our dog could get undernesth the fence , some chicken wire would resolve this issue. Other than that everything was perfect.

Little Barn was very clean with everything we needed.

Amazing views and very quiet, just the donkeys and alpacas for company and they only wandered into the neighbouring field a couple of times. It made the perfect spot for our mini break. Not quite warm enough to enjoy the outside seating areas but we imagine it would be a fabulous place to sit with a morning cuppa or an evening G & T. Lots to explore in the area - we did a lovely walk from the cottage up to the Hospice tower with 360 degree views and then down to Cartmel - a very pretty place with cafes and pubs and a Priory lovely food and extensive menus at the Mallard Tea Room. Took the steam train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside and did a lovely walk up to High Dam through woodland. The tea room at Haverthwaite station sell off their scones and pasties for £1 at the end of each day. Akhi Indian in GOS delivered our takeaway too. Also enjoyed exploring around Humprhey Head and had a lovely meal at Thyme Out in Grange Over Sands before heading home. We would like to return to take the train across the estuary to Silverdale - maybe next year... Thanks for sharing your property.

It’s called Little Barn but there’s so much room!

The open plan kitchen and living room is very spacious. The kitchen has everything you need and the living area is comfy and cosy with some amazing views. The bathroom is lovely, a good size and bright. There’s 2 bedrooms one with twin beds and the other with a double, my husband thought the mattress on the double was too squishy for him so he slept in the other room just in case you thought we’d argued!. Outside has the most amazing views over the bay x we would definitely recommend this little gem.

Little Barn is a beautifully maintained property, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The cottage has magnificent views of Morecambe bay, with green fields all around. The weather wasn't very seasonal for our week in June, so we couldn't take advantage of the sitting out area, but we enjoyed the view from the windows! We loved the peace and quiet and watching the donkeys and sheep in the fields nearby. Plenty of things to do in the area, with Grange and its promenade within easy walking distance. We plan to return!

A great little place.

Lovely views and well designed to provide all comforts. What would have been helpful was a an information guide on local restaurants and places to visit close by.

This cottage is the best we’ve stayed in.

It’s in a beautiful setting and exactly what’s needed to recharge batteries. Hopefully booking for another visit later in the year if we can. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. The donkeys were a bonus too.

The only suggestion I would like to make is a shelf in the shower to put shampoo and soap on.

Little Barn is a lovely cottage with a magnificent view.

We really enjoyed our holiday in this warm, peaceful property. The weather was amazing so we were able to breakfast each morning on the 'upper deck' outside and dine each evening on the patio, thanks to the property having 2 sets of outdoor dining furniture. The kitchen was very well equipped. The shower pressure was excellent. The whole property was beautifully clean. The local Co-op stocks Bryson's Lakeland plum bread - try it toasted! We really did not want to leave Little Barn, neither did our dog who placed his paws four-square in the doorway and had to be lifted into the car.

My grandson especially enjoyed walking down to Grange over Sands as its not to far from the cottage and playing crazy golf etc. we recommend this cottage for dogs too as they had lots of walks. Panoramic view from windows and outside seating area. Would stay again.

The Barn is absolutely beautiful, clean tidy and well cared for. We can't recommend it enough and enjoyed our stay. Although the garden is enclosed by a horizontal thin line wired fence, our dogs were able to escape with ease into the neighbouring field. (A reference in the information pack asked us not to let dogs into the neighbouring field). We would like to see the fence upgraded which we are sure could be easily done. been to Grange many times, first time at Little Barn, what a find, in a beautiful location with views from the patio, (two to choose from) with the most glorious views over to the bay towards Morecambe, Silverdale etc.

The barn is set on one level, with all things to hand, clean, tidy a beautiful bathroom, well set out kitchen area. Televisions in all rooms, though with that view you would not need them! Have already booked again. Our new favourite place in Grange/Cartmel.

The property LITTLE BARN was beautiful in every respect; both inside and out.

We are aware in the advertising that pets can stay there but we feel it is definitely NOT pet friendly, by pets we assume that dogs will be most likely to stay there, As soon as we opened the door to Little Barn we were met with a notice basically saying that pets can only be allowed to sit on the lounge floor and go nowhere else in the property. There were actually two big notices saying the same thing and also stating we would incur a fine if not complied with, We always take covers for everything anyway and always have. My Husband did mention this notice to the owners whilst we were there. Never have we had this before and we have stayed in your cottages before. The last one being on Holy Island last year. We really cannot recommend Little Barn to any pet owners as being pet friendly as it clearly is not. It seems such a shame as the property is perfect in every other way and we would have loved to have stayed there again ,

Had a wonderful stay.

Batteries duly refreshed and recharged. Perfect location and views. My only slight criticism would be I’m not sure it could be classed at pet friendly.The patio wasn’t secure and we were constantly concerned about them exploring the rest of the bungalow. Also the sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable.

Would suggest better fencing between garden and field as dogs can get through at the moment so not secure.

We have added Little Barn to our list of holiday properties that we will enjoy in the future.

Recently retired and Little Barn ticks all the boxes for us. Warm, comfy, well equipped, fabulous views, great location, we really enjoyed our holiday there.

Excellent property as a disabled person would have liked a higher supportive chair I struggled with low chair I know u carnt cater for everyone but maybe put one in the bedroom that could be used if needed otherwise the most beautiful location spotlessly clean was sorry to leave views were spectacular and the peace and quite was amazing thankyou

Very clean , fantastic situation. Only gripe for us oldies is the furniture is too low and TV too high , but hey we still returned

Everything you could want in a holiday home . A real home from home . Spotless and such high quality inside and out. Views across the sands . Well positioned for Cartmel and Grange over sands . We will definelty be back .

Beautiful cottage!

We stayed there over Christmas, and the owners had put so much thought and effort in to decorate the property and make it feel festive. Little Barn was spotlessly clean, beds really comfortable and the view across the fields to the sea were stunning and are worth every penny spent to stay there! The dog loved exploring the patio, lawn and raised decking. We will be booking again soon!

We had a wonderful stay - I feel very smug that I found this little gem.

A couple of tiny things that might have improved our stay: We found that the garden fence was not secure; this meant we had to keep our dog on a lead at all times, which was disappointing as it was a huge reason we booked Little Barn. The kitchen knives were overdue being sharpened - having a knife sharpener available would have been great. The barn was very comfortable, although we did find that the pillows in the bedroom were absolutely enormous! Very luxurious but not the comfiest to sleep on. Oh my god the shower was awesome - 10/10. Thank you again for such a lovely stay - between the lovely little barn and the truly awesome views we were very, very happy indeed.

Overlooking some absolutely stunning views in a very tidy garden & sitting area, you can not help to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend this place for any couple or even small family for sure. Loved it and the cottage will be saved for future visits to the area.
