“Beck steps 1 was a fantastic cottage to explore the lake district from.”
We loved people watching from the front window and enjoyed a walk to the pubs in the evening. Very clean and a bonus having a car parking space.
Not a complaint but for future guests: there was no tea, coffee, sugar or basic cooking essentials (oil etc) there was a salt and pepper grinder but they were empty, no extra toilet roll, no shower gel, washing machine was great to have but no tablets, no cleaning spray for the surfaces, pillows were really thin so wish we had brought our own ...

The cottage was really well equipped with pots and pans, crockery etc we just wish we had known to bring everything else. There is a co-op around the corner but we didn’t want to buy a load of items for a holiday.
