Wonderfully presented property in an excellent location.

Hosts were most welcoming. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes from shops, pubs, cafes etc and Grasmere is very central to explore this wonderful area. Couldn't have wished for better - thank you to all.

Just came back from a wonderful 3 day stay at Stonegarth cottage.

Fantastic apartment in a superb location.All fixtures and fittings were top quality and the property was very well equipped. Sharon, the owner was very friendly and on hand if needed. Would highly recommend and we will be booking again.

Grasmere is a beautiful place, so peaceful, we love it there.

Stonegarth Cottage is centrally situated, well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are lovely people, friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return.

Booked a week in January and were very happy with the accomodation.

Comfortable with excellent kitchen. We used Stonegarth's excellent location in Grasmere for walks to Ambleside, Easedale Tarn and more strenuous ones to Chapel Stile. The accomodation is also minutes from very good IPA at the local brew pub (Goodsport) or coffee at Freda & Rays. There is also a bus stop at the the end of the road for trips further afield without the car. Hosts friendly and helpful and offered the use of their garage for my bike which I had brought for 'the Struggle' to Kirkstone pass. Would stay again.

The cottage was very comfortable and spacious, located in the centre of Grasmere ideal for all local amenities in the village also for visiting other locations in the Lakes. Safe private parking. This was our second visit to the cottage and have booked again for next year.

Perfect for walks, and a superb bus service yards away. Comfortable accommodation with everything one would need and welcoming hosts. This was our second stay here and I hope it won’t be our last.

A great location close to all restaurants and shops but in a quiet area away from the bustle.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We didn't need to use the car all week as there are so many walks to explore from Grasmere. The facilities were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stonegarth and would definitely recommend it and I am sure we will return.

We have holidayed in Grasmere on a number of occasions but Stonegarth was by far the best accommodation for comfort, cleanliness and convenience.

The owners, who live on-site, were more than helpful in making our stay relaxing and enjoyable, without being intrusive. We’ll almost certainly be back!

Lovely apartment in the owner's house with your own entrance and use of the pretty garden.

Although you are right in the village of Grasmere itself, the property is tucked away down a side street which means it is quiet and peaceful, away from the busy streets which is great. The owners are friendly and very helpful. There are plenty of walks from the door plus restaurants and shops; so no need to use your car unless you want to explore further afield, in which case you are ideally situated for getting to Ambleside, Windermere or Keswick. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stonegarth and would definitely recommend it.

Stonegarth is a really nice cottage in a central location.

Stayed Aug 5th - Aug 12th 2022. Everything was lovely. Owners Sharon and Attilio are a lovely couple who were there to welcome us and were there to say Goodbye as we we leaving . They live on site and made us feel very welcome - we will definitely return to this little gem of a cottage

A very good cottage to have a well earned break, good pub, resterants and coffee shops good walks around Grassmere.

Stonegarth Cottage was absolutely fabulous.

Lovely owners who made us feel at home over Christmas. The accommodation itself is faultless, there seems to be everything you could imagine. Lovely kitchen with all the utensils you could wish for. Plenty of storage room. Centrally located in the village of Grasmere, 1 minute walk to The Good Sports. Perfect holiday.

Cups were chipped (2) and a real hazard when picking them up with hot contents- tray would have been handy tourist info going back to 2014 cleaning product for the bathroom would have been handy these comments are meant to be positive, because the place/venue was first class

Stonegarth Cottage is a hidden gem situated in the very heart of Grasmere village.

Very well equipped, lovely peaceful location and every need catered for. On site parking a welcome bonus too. The hosts were delightful. We shall definitely stay again.

Stonegarth is a beautifully appointed apartment.

Everything required for a break in the Lakes. The kitchen and living room are open plan and very comfortable. Seating for two at the dividing table. Underfloor heating throughout and a very comfortable bed. Best sleep I've had for a while! The apartment is located in the the village which is ideal, there is a short stroll to the shops are pubs / cafes.

Stonegarth Cottage has a perfect position in Grasmere, with offroad parking, lovely facilities and a light and cosy living area.

We loved it. It's perfect for two people wanting to enjoy a central location in the Lake District with the option to walk/run/chill from their doorstep or have the option to hop in a car/on a bus and visit Keswik, Ambleside, Coniston (for example). The owners are really helpful and are there if you need to ask their advice and will make sure you have everything you need. Top marks for Stonegarth and we will be back!

Excellent holiday accommodation in the centre of Grasmere, we could leave the car and catch the bus.

Stonegarth Cottage is very clean, comfortable accommodation with a modern well equipped kitchen, wet room and underfloor heating. The owners made us feel very welcome and met us on arrival to show us around. Somewhere we would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely base for a holiday in the Lakes.

Only minutes walk from the center of Grasmere and right next to the bus stop. One could spend the week without having to use a car which we rate very highly.
