There were a few things that seemed slightly amiss - none enough to spoil the holiday, but which could easily be improved upon.
The aga is wonderful, but like many people we are not used to one and therefore were left wondering what temperature setting to put it on, and when. We could find no instructions apart from a simple diagram which didn't mention these things.
We were very surprised there was no hand soap in the house on arrival, which meant we spent the first 24 hours washing our hands with washing up liquid. There are three bathrooms in the house, plus the kitchen sink. Are guests really expected to pack four bars of soap?
The loo paper supply felt stingy - just one per toilet. More would have been appreciated.
Instructions about when to put the bins out could have been more prominent.
Your reminder email about our departure from the house would have been more useful if it had contained specific information about the house, as your arrival email managed to do. There appeared to be mixed messages about where to put the key on departure. The key safe seems sensible, but there was something about posting it back through the door.
