    “This property is a truly magnificent stay would highly recommend to everyone ,a hidden and well loved gem ,the tarn just put the icing on the cake .”

    Lots of places to visit and lots of memories made .From board games to swimming ,Fishing, relaxing ,Visiting places what more could we want. Enter towards a large garden which leads directly onto the Urswick Tarn, boasting opportunities for fishing, kayaking and lots of space, perfect for large gatherings of friends and family. This enchanted cottage is built with five bedrooms, including a king-size boasting an en-suite shower room, and the rest of the king-size, two doubles and twin have access to a stylish family bathroom, other rooms include a chic kitchen which has a seating area, a separate sitting room with a woodburning stove, a family dining room, fun small playroom and a relaxing conservatory. The kids can challenge each other to board games in the playroom, before settling down for the evening in the homely living room to watch a family film. Cook up a delicious home-cooked meal in the well-equipped kitchen, fitted with a large range cooker to feed your whole group. There's a tranquil conservatory where you can read and enjoy a warm cup of tea as you admire the expansive grounds and Urswick Tarn. Ulverston is a traditional market town built around a cobbled main street. It boasts a fine selection of independent shops, café’s, and pubs with open fires and real ales. There is an extensive selection of eating places to suit everyone, from fine dining to traditional pub food. Ulverston is also well known as a festival town, with events ranging from flags and walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer months and with the renowned Dickensian Christmas festival in late November. It is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and world record holder of the biggest foam pie fight in the world giving a glimpse into the fun community spirited little town. There are excellent walks around the town and beautiful countryside, with views of the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Home to the deepest, widest and shortest canal, which makes for a lovely afternoon walk with a pub at the end and views over the bay. All of the attractions of the National Park are also easily reached. The Furness Coast boasts sandy beaches and good birdwatching. Nearby family attractions include the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston and popular Birkrigg Common, with its incredible panoramic views across Morecambe Bay.
