“We really enjoyed our stay at Eden Vale.”

The cottage has a lot of charm and was well equipped for our visit. We loved the location in Broughton, just a short two-minute walk to the local pubs. The garden was excellent for our dogs, providing them with the freedom to explore safely within the private space. We attempted to use the hot tub but found it challenging to operate, partly due to the limited lighting in the garden at night, which made it somewhat risky, especially the wooden steps which became slippery when wet. Additionally, if you enjoy sleeping with the window open, please be aware that the road outside the cottage is quite busy, which may disturb sleep on some nights. The living room was cozy, and it was nice to have access to various streaming services on the TV after a long day. The cottage was generally clean, though it could benefit from a thorough dusting in some areas. It would also be helpful if there were a few dishwasher tablets available, as we had to purchase a small supply ourselves—though we only used three (or could bring your own) Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Eden Vale and certainly plan to return in the future!
