On the downside, we were supplied with only 1 1/2 toilet rolls for 3 people for a 3-night stay and then had to buy our own from the garage, and only a tiny amount of washing up liquid to do our dishes. We were looking forward to having a wood burner fire on, but sadly were only provided with three thin pieces of skinny wood, almost twig like, no paper, no firelighters, no matches etc. Where is the wood?
It would be helpful to have a chair in the upstairs bedroom (or stool) to ...

It would be helpful to have a chair in the upstairs bedroom (or stool) to sit on when drying your hair and putting make-up on in front of the mirror, and a brighter light in the upstairs bedroom.
The radiator in the downstairs bedroom had broken and we were provided with a heater, that was the most complicated contraption ever to work with no instructions. It was touch screen that didn’t work and had a flashing WiFi symbol on it. A far more simple heater would suffice.
Also be aware if you stay in the downstairs bedroom when it rains there is a constant loud drip that kept us awake on the second night as the roof is flat and we suspect the pipe has a crack in it. The drip was relentless all night!

Thank you for review and the feedback above, we are glad you enjoyed the cottage generally but obviously missed the mark with some of the other issues.
I will discuss with our management company the level of amenities left for guests regards toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc as it sounds like it is obviously insufficient for a stays
On the wood front I can only apologise for the lack of wood provided - there should be left at least sufficient for the first night of kindling, wood and firelighters, unfortunately we don’t provide wood for entire stays - we have now topped up though thanks to your feedback.
The radiator has now been fixed (unfortunately it hadn’t been reported before your stay so we weren’t able to fix it).
I have checked and the temporary heater(s) are working but appreciate they may not be the easiest to follow (we chose these as they automatically turn off when they reach a required heat level so significantly reduce fire risk given people can leave the house and leave them on at times) - the instructions should have been with the other manuals though.
The maintenance team have been to look at the drip and were unable to find any crack etc…they are to return again though when raining to see what is causing the issue, we are sorry it impacted your stay and are working to find the problem.
