“What a wonderful place to stay, peaceful, idyllic and comfortable!”
The owner did come say hi, and left us with two beautiful pies to eat and a bottle of prosecco to enjoy too, what a lovely touch.
The space is super luxurious, with a very comfy bed and pillows, and I'm very fussy! All the towels are huge and the robes are soft, warm and fluffy. The place is kitted out with so much, but not too much, all very nicely designed too.
The hot tub are is wonderful, with a canopy and two chairs for cooling off in, a clothes horse, and table to put your drinks ...

Overall, this is a high end space, in a beautiful place, very peaceful. You're far enough away from everyone else that we barely saw anyone while we were there, just what we wanted. There's an abundance of wildlife to watch, loads of pheasants, a huge variety of birds, moorhen, ducks, sheep and even a deer! Lots of bats at night too, over the pond.
Mr Waitrose found us using the what three words location!
Fyi, there shampoo and body wash but no conditioner, so bring your own.
I'd love to see a Welcome pack with instructions on how to use the heater and oven etc. with details on local walks, pubs etc.
Things that'd improve our stay, a caffetier would be a nice edition, kitchen tongs, and proper oven gloves. Also, the dinner plates don't fit in the washing up bowl, so make it difficult to wash up.
I adore this spot and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
