“Recycling boxes and bags were already full up when we arrived.”

We assumed the previous people hadn't put it out, it hadn't been collected so they brought it back in or the collection was the week we were there - as it is fortnightly. We assumed the previous people hadn't put it out, it hadn't been collected so they brought it back in or the collection was the week we were there - as it is fortnightly. We put the already full boxes and bags out on Thursday evening as per instructions. By Friday afternoon the rubbish hadn't been collected - the collection must have been the previous week. It had blown all over the road. We had to waste our holiday time clearing it all up. It took ages to get through to Sykes Cottages on the phone the first time we rang about the rubbish - so we left a note by the bin in the kitchen instead of ringing again to explain why the rubbish was still there. The instructions left about bin collections were out of date anyway - I think they were from 2023. Also this is the first place I have been where there was no welcome pack - not even a few tea bags! The house was lovely but the recycling needs sorting.
