“Most definitely a 5 star location overlooking the lake, with a balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun.”
The contemporary property is lovely with modern fittings and furniture and is generally a very comfortable place to stay. Lacks a few items which would have given it a 5 star rating. The TV is not a Smart one with no DVD player, so bring a laptop for streaming films etc. A clothes airer would be a useful addition as non tumble dry clothes need to hang somewhere. Bring extra hangers, kitchen waste bin bags and a few items like foil/cling//cooking oil.

It’s a good location for visiting the Western Lake District, with plenty of hiking in beautiful places, the scenery all stunning. The ferry over to Bowness is seasonal and subject to weather conditions. It could be awkward to move the car when it’s busy in high season as the queue for the landing runs past the properties. It’s a pity there’s no box junction in the road right outside so other drivers leave room for you to get out! Overall a really nice place to stay.
