Walk down along a gravelled path towards your new home-from-home and be taken aback by the beauty of your rural setting.
Inside, you will be greeted by a well-appointed, open-plan living space, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen where the chosen chef can get to work rustling up a tasty, home-cooked meal, a dining area with ample seating, and a plush sitting area with two sofas and a sleek, wall-mounted Smart TV. When sleep calls, a family bathroom or an en-suite shower room invite you to rejuvenate before you hunker down for a much-needed rest in either an inviting double or twin bedroom.
When you're ready, lace up your shoes and set out to explore what your local area has in store. On foot, a brief walk will bring you to an on-site convenience store, where you can stock up on homely essentials, whilst the Haybarn Inn, a pub set within the holiday park, lies just a stone's throw from your new front door, serving up traditional, British grub when you fancy a break from cooking. You'll also find leisure and laundry facilities within Limefitt Park to help make your stay that much more enjoyable.
For a day out, make sure you stop by the National Trust landmark of Townend, the scenic viewpoint of Orrest Head, as well as the stunning location of the Holehird Gardens, on your way into the nearby lakeside town of Windermere, where you can soak in scenic views of the eponymous Lake Windermere from Queen Adelaide's Hill, enjoy an afternoon interacting with exhibitions at The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, or even enjoy a journey along the waters onboard a cruise from the Windermere Jetty Museum.

The small Lakeland village of Troutbeck can be found between its more famous neighbours Windermere and Ambleside, close by the Kirkstone Pass. A mixture of houses, cottages and farms, the village is scattered along a narrow lane bordered by a drystone wall. Many of these buildings date back to the 17th Century with features such as mullioned windows and heavy cylindrical chimneys and the northern end boasts its own 17th century inn. Close by, the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including the lakeside ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. The ‘Windermere Steamboat Museum’ displays a fascinating collection of boats whilst children will enjoy the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’ in Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Within easy reach of destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains, Troutbeck is ideally situated for exploring all that the region has to offer.
Nutkins Lodge is accessed by a number of steps. The lodge is then all on the same level.

Park rules and operations - Limefitt Park
All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.
Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.
You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.
Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
