    “Absolutely gorgeous property!”

    Such calm and peaceful surroundings, immaculately clean and very well equipped. We had a lovely weekend and the hot tub and sauna right by the pond were such a nice touch that elevated the experience further. We really enjoyed our stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough. My only comment would be not to follow the satnav for the postcode as it takes you to a farm!

Nestled beside a winding stream and surrounded by 7 acres of natural grounds, this exceptional property includes a private outdoor hot tub and wood-built barrel sauna, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. A spacious private driveway leads to the house, where you’ll enter through a generous porch into an expansive open-plan sitting and dining area.

Double French doors open out to the garden, and a woodburning stove adds warmth during the cooler months.

Superb walking, mountain biking and climbing are available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. For watersports enthusiasts, the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the beautiful steam yacht 'Gondola’, or visit Brantwood, the former home of John Ruskin.
