A gentle half mile walk takes you to Bootle Station, where you can embark on the West Coast railway line and travel up the coast to Ravenglass, where you can hop on-board the Ravenglass & Eskdale narrow gauge railway, which will take you up the Eskdale Valley. Travel by car from Eskdale along the ancient passes of Hardknott & Wrynose and discover the Langdale valley. 26 Hycemoor Way is the perfect base for exploring the Western Lakes & any walkers will love the footpaths along Great Gable and Scarfell Pike.
