Enter into the immaculate open-plan living space where the impressive kitchen area welcomes you in; here you can prepare all your family-favourite meals when you're not making the most of the fabulous eateries in town, the kitchen offering all the essential appliances as well as the luxuries of a wine chiller, washing machine and dishwasher!

Sit together around the wooden table at the centre of the room, the warmth of the woodburning stove creating a homely aura, or take your mealtimes outside and dine alfresco in the private, enclosed patio area at the rear.

Spend your evenings snuggled into the corner sofa in front of the Smart TV, the old vault in the floor below bringing a characterful charm to the property, reminding you of its past, before venturing upstairs to find even more wonder.

Choose from three beautifully-presented bedrooms to rest your head, with a super-king-size, double and a twin offering a flexible sleeping arrangement for a variety of group needs, all served by a beautiful shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, as well as additional cloakroom.

The first floor also hosts your very own sauna, making the perfect spot to unwind after a day of rambling amongst the National Parks.

If you can tear yourself away from this spectacular property, take a stroll out the front door to find riverside walks at the end of the road, where “Frank’s Bridge” crosses the River Eden making the perfect picnic spot, while a ginnel adjacent takes you into the centre of town where you will find a good selection of shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs catering to every taste.

Explore the quaint cobbled streets of Kirkby Stephen for an idyllic day out, both Stenkrith Park and Jubilee Park making lovely spots for a leisurely stroll, while just outside of the town you can find the wonder of Kirkby Stephen East, a historic station and steam railway with a small museum it makes a great day trip for the keen trainspotter, while the Settle-Carlisle Railway line offers the perfect way to explore the beauty of the area in a different way.

Lying at the foot of the Howgill Fells, there's plenty of scenic splendour to explore by foot or bike too, or take a more challenging ramble in either of the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales National Parks, with more adventurous activities such as fishing, horse riding, watersports and more!

Spend a day in the fantastic town of Barnard Castle, named after the castle around which the town was built, here you can find wonderful views over the Tees Gorge, the enticing The Bowes Museum and the Deepdale Nature Reserve, while the adventures of Kendal and Penrith can be found slightly further afield, offering excitement at any time of year for all ages.
