Within easy reach of the popular villages of Bowness and Windermere, just a few minutes’ drive from a range of award winning restaurants and country pubs, directly opposite Windermere Golf Club and with a choice of walks from the door guests can quickly and easily be out and about enjoying the Lake District to the full and then retreat at the end of the day to this stylish and beautifully appointed cottage Accommodation In Detail The living accommodation offers plenty of space for friends and families of all ages. The heart of the home is the spacious open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area with floor to ceiling picture windows with bi-fold doors that open to the patio, allow the light to flood in and offers a real connection with the beautiful countryside beyond which is a haven for wildlife, including a herd of Roe deer that can be often seen first thing in a morning grazing in the adjacent meadow. The beautifully presented space includes two sitting areas, one from which to enjoy the views and the other to relax in front of the TV. The large dining table is ideal for family celebrations or hearty Cumbrian breakfasts. The superb high quality, contemporary kitchen, is well equipped with five ring induction hob, electric double oven, double fridge and freezer, wine cooler, Quoker hot water tap and dishwasher all complemented by a high quality kitchen inventory. Across the hallway is the formal sitting room with comfortable sofas, armchairs, large screen TV and patio doors to the garden. To the side is a cosy snug / reading area which is a little haven in which to relax with a good book or the weekend papers. Cleabarrow Cottage offers a choice of six bedrooms, each beautifully presented and all with ensuite facilities, TVs and bathrobes. Four of the bedrooms can be presented as with either a superking bed or twin beds (please specify your choice when booking to ensure the rooms are correctly presented and ready for your arrival). The first of the six bedrooms is located on the ground floor and complemented by a superb ensuite shower room with walk in shower. On the first floor, choose from four welcoming bedrooms; the first with a large corner window benefiting from the beautiful views and including an ensuite shower room, the second with a balcony and ensuite bathroom with feature bath, the third with superb views and luxurious ensuite with feature bath and the fourth spacious bedroom suite with ensuite bathroom with feature bath. The final beroom is located on the second floor; this is a lovely suite set in the eves with ensuite bathroom with a feature bath, A terraced, lawned garden, wraps round the cottage and a large patio with outdoor dining furniture is the place to relax on a summers evening or alternatively unwind in the large hot tub. Private parking is available for up to six cars and one electric car charging point is available. Location Only 2 miles from Bowness to the east of Lake Windermere, this Lake District country house is perfectly placed for a peaceful yet convenient time here - just across the road from Windermere Golf Club, 2 miles from shops and restaurants in Bowness, and the same distance from the glorious lake shores and boating attractions of Lake Windermere. The surrounding countryside is bliss for walking, straight from your door, and scattered with acclaimed Lake District pub restaurants. Some of the finest in the Lake District are within a very short drive. Other popular Lake District villages and viewpoints are easily accessible from the A roads at Bowness, which lead to Windermere village then Troutbeck, then on to Ambleside, Rydal Water and Grasmere. Alternatively, follow the road south from Bowness to peaceful Lakeside and arty Ulverston. The Bowness car-ferry also provides access to 'Beatrix Potter country' and the picture post card village of Hawkshead.
