Windermere village centre is just a five minute walk away, ideal for stocking up the kitchen; there you'll find a large Booths supermarket well stocked with the best local produce as well as everyday essentials. The High Street has a traditional butcher, several restaurants and cafes together with pubs serving real Lakeland ale. Bowness village is a busier tourist destination, just a couple of miles away.
