Accommodation In Detail
From the parking spaces to the front of Carus House the front door opens to a large reception hallway with two staircases leading to the first floor.
The first floor, open plan living accommodation features a comfortable sitting area with a huge panoramic window that allows the light to flood in and offers views to the first tee on the golf course and a beautiful panorama of the surrounding hills.
A large corner sofa, complemented with comfortable armchairs are arranged in front of the living flame gas fire and large screen TV with Sky.
To the side is the kitchen / diner with its large curved, granite topped breakfast bar, family dining table and a spacious and well equipped kitchen with integrated appliance including electric oven with secondary combi/microwave oven, large fridge, under counter freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler.
Patio door leads out onto the patio with outdoor furniture.
A cosy snug/TV room is located on the ground floor where guests can relax in front of their favourite film or game.
The bedrooms are spread over the three floors of the house.
On the ground floor there is a choice of three bedrooms, all of which can be presented with a choice of superking or twin beds (please specify when booking), two offer luxury ensuite shower rooms whilst the third benefits from a adjacent bathroom with bath with shower over.
On the first and second floor there are two bedrooms suites; on the first floor a superking bedroom with ensuite shower room and on the second floor the master suite with large queen size bed, pop up TV, large panoramic window, dressing room with built in wardrobes and a large ensuite bathroom with feature bath, bathroom TV, walk in shower and double sink.

The sheltered valley is famous for its damson orchards, which give rise to gorgeous white blossom in spring.
The landscapes are scattered with country homes and rural Lake District cottages, as well as a choice of several acclaimed Lake District country pubs, such as The Punch Bowl at Crosthwaite and the Mason's Arms at Strawberry Bank.
A romantic walk nearby is the ascent of Gummers How, which offers simply wonderful views of Lake Windermere from the top.
The Cartmel Fell tarns walk is also a lovely afternoon's worth, starting at Bowland Bridge's historic church.
The popular foodie villages of Cartmel and Kirkby Lonsdale are both within easy reach offering fine local artisan foods and award winning restaurants.
