Located in an elevated position on rolling farmland, it commands the most spectacular views, just perfect for families or groups of friends fancying a bit of country living.

Four shallow steps take you to the back door and into the kitchen via a bright utility boot room with an adjoining loo and shower.

The well-equipped kitchen has a toasty-warm Aga, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, there is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor making the dining and sitting rooms comfortable, practical and cosy, all the west facing rooms have deep window seats, perfect to relax and admire the wonderful scenery and sunsets with the Lake District fells in the distance.

The sitting room has a smart speaker, digital TV, and an efficient wood burning stove, here you can open the front door to a flagged patio that gets full sunshine during the summer months.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and another bathroom, where you will find a walk-in shower along with a free-standing bath with an amazing view, the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day exploring the countryside.

Both well-appointed double bedrooms have zip and link beds – just specify when you book whether you want a super king or two singles, the single room has a terrific view across the moor and gets the sunrise.

The pretty walled garden has a gravelled area with an outdoor table and a neatly clipped lawn, there is plenty of parking and provision can be made to store bikes, paddle boards or pushchairs.
