“We have just returned after 4 nights at Green Acre.”
On pulling up to the cottage it looked very scruffy. Weeds all over, around the house and around the hot tub area. Paintwork peeling off the window sills.
Inside the cottage, in the living room there is a lovely window seat but sadly the view is totally obscured by a large bush. This needs cutting back, as do other bushes.
Blind broken in upstairs bedroom. Mugs chipped.
Pillow protectors needed on all pillows.

We had problems with the boiler. No hot water at one point, and then intermittent. However, the owner and the handyman tried to fix it. Hot water did come on. The handyman delivered the gas for the BBQ but the gas BBQ needed to be thrown out. The deflectors were rusted and the burners were blocked. We had our BBQ via the oven. Owner not contacted as we had plans the other nights there.
Hot tub was lovely, however the chlorinated water took the colour out of my swimsuit.
Saying all of this, we enjoyed our stay at Green Acre and would book again. Minor complaints that could easily be rectified.
Also, we had a lovely family few days away and we would stay there again. Good garden that our greyhound loved.
