    “Our 3 nights at Dairy cottage was lovely, we were blown away with the furnishings and decoration of this lovely cottage from its cool interior with the very thick walls ,to the extra thoughts on making sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable.”

    The sofa and chairs in keeping with the cottage are like new and the bedrooms are modern and comfortable,plenty cupboard and drawers.the only thing i found a little frustrating is that the sockets are all behind cupboards upstairs but I didnt have a problem pulling a bedside table out, maybe a full length mirror on the landing where the little 1 is would also be nice but it was everything we hoped it would be. The welcome pack was lovely and we enjoyed the biscuits! The rest we brought with us ...

The charming old village of Newby sits in a secluded location in the Eden Valley, between the northern Pennines and the Lake District. Newby, with its better-known neighbours of Appleby and Penrith, is surrounded by lovely rolling landscapes and is often described as having a special, unchanging beauty.
